Part planner, part teacher, and part trusted confidant, Tom delivers to clients the successful planning outcomes and guidance that they deserve by connecting with them around their life experiences, future aspirations, and individual perspectives.
Raised as an only child, Tom learned to be independent and the importance of having a strong work ethic at an early age. By working and self-funding his way through his degree in business administration from the University of Baltimore, he chose a career path in financial services to build a foundation for himself and ultimately the clients he might serve later.
Tom’s approach evolved through successful careers at TD Ameritrade and then at SunTrust Investment Services, Inc.
In 2019, Tom co-founded Acadium Financial Partners to guide his clients with thorough planning, education, and empathy. He has completed the Investments and Wealth Institutes’ course on Applied Behavioral Finance and is an expert in how investors think. With his excellent coaching and teaching skills, Tom makes the complex simple for his clients so that they can learn and understand, be patient and disciplined investors, and make wise decisions with their money.
After 25 years of helping clients manage volatility, Tom has learned that “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Pairing wisdom with warmth, Tom communicates in a straightforward, candid manner that clients respect and understand. This philosophy has led to long term and multi-generational relationships. A Certified Financial Planner™ professional, Tom receives the most gratification by giving his clients a well thought out, collaborative, attainable and disciplined approach to achieve their most cherished goals.
Tom is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He lives in Palm Beach Gardens with his daughter, Hannah.
