An extraordinary administrator and Paraplanner, Dawna brings a methodical mindset and a passion for solving problems to Acadium Financial Partners. She is always looking for a better way to do things and is the designer and driver of the behind-the-scenes processes that help make life better for our clients.
Dawna was born in Killingly, Connecticut and moved to Jensen Beach, Florida in 2000. Before the formation of Acadium Financial Partners, Dawna was an exceptional Personal Banker and a sought-after Investment Associate at SunTrust Investment Services. During her fifteen-year career at SunTrust, Dawna became fluent in banking and financial services. Whether it was making an office run smoothly or pioneering a new process, Dawna established herself as a talented resource that people can rely on.
Dawna's focus on financial planning evolved during the Financial Crisis of 2008 and the subsequent recovery, when she saw the advantage that investors can enjoy if they can focus on a plan. She joined Tom Udovich and Lindsey Hansen in 2013, and adopted their holistic client philosophy. Continuously improving, Dawna received the Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP) certification from the College for Financial Planning in early 2020.
Dawna understands that happiness and financial success mean different things to different people, and she knows that delivering ideal outcomes for each person demands customized financial planning and consistent implementation. She enjoys growing deep, long-lasting relationships with our clients and derives the greatest gratification from seeing the difference she can make in their lives. Dawna helps Acadium to educate investors, simplify complex issues, and genuinely help people every day.
Dawna lives in Stuart with her husband, Billy, and children, Aiden and Madeleine.
