Adullam: A Calling Turned Into a Living Mission
At Acadium Financial Partners, we believe that wealth is more than something to be preserved or grown. It is a tool with the potential to shape lives, communities, and to have eternal impact. Some of the most compelling examples of that belief come to life through our clients, Margaret Karakas and Court Courtney, and their nonprofit ministry, Adullam.
Founded in the winter of 2023, Adullam is a 501(c)(3) Christian ministry born out of prayer, discernment, and a willingness to step into uncertainty. While still living in Naples, Florida, Margaret and Court sensed a clear and persistent calling to leave behind familiar routines and comfortable surroundings and to act boldly on what they believed God was placing on their hearts. That calling became Adullam—a ministry designed to reach the unchurched, foster spiritual renewal, and create space for people to encounter the Gospel in an authentic and relational way.
Their decision was not simply a career change or a relocation. It was a full reorientation of life, resources, and priorities around mission. It reflects the very conversations we strive to facilitate at Acadium: What does it look like to steward wealth with intentionality? What kind of legacy do you want to build?
Following the Call to Middle Tennessee
Answering that call led Margaret and Court to the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee, an area known for its natural beauty and open land. There, they began developing a vision for Evangelical Hospitality Outreach, a ministry built around welcoming the RV community, travelers who are often seeking rest and fellowship along the way.
Rather than creating a traditional church model, Adullam invites people into a place of hospitality and refuge. Amid a noisy and conflicted world, the ministry is designed as a space where visitors can slow down, experience peace, enjoy human connection, hear the Gospel, and share their stories. Faith is not presented as a program, but as an invitation woven naturally into rest, conversation, and community.
Adullam Stays: Faith, Hospitality, and Creation
Adullam Stays, is an 80‑acre boutique RV park and retreat thoughtfully designed to honor both people and the environment. The vision blends comfort, creation, and contemplation. Plans include luxury guest suites with full amenities, rustic campsites, hiking and ATV trails with prayer and meditation benches, butterfly gardens, bee hives, hummingbird feeders, and a wildlife sanctuary supporting native deer, turkeys, and other species.
Every element serves a purpose—creating an atmosphere where guests feel cared for, grounded, and open to reflection. The land itself becomes part of the ministry, pointing visitors toward rest, stewardship, and spiritual renewal.
In Summer 2025, Adullam celebrated a major milestone with the opening of the first seven of 21 planned RV sites. Each site is intentionally spaced and forest‑nested, featuring full utility hookups, custom decks, fire rings, grills, and privacy landscaping. These are spaces designed for connection, rest, and meaningful conversation.
Margaret and Court have also added two beautifully designed and appointed guest suites, each of which is equipped with a full kitchenette and a walk-in shower and bathroom. The private sitting areas overlook the scenic property, providing a welcoming refuge for guests without an RV.
A Labor of Love, Built by Faith
Since mid‑2024, Margaret and Court have poured themselves into the hands‑on work of building Adullam from the ground up. Court has overseen the installation of infrastructure such electric, water, sewer, grading, and landscaping while Margaret has designed floor plans and interiors with meticulous care and warmth. Together, they now live full-time on the property, modeling the very hospitality and commitment that define the ministry.
Their work is a reminder that bold impact often requires bold faith.
Purpose in Action
Adullam stands as a powerful example of what can happen when financial resources, personal conviction, and long‑term vision are aligned. At Acadium Financial Partners, we are honored to walk alongside clients like Margaret and Court—helping them navigate financial complexity so they are free to pursue what matters most.
We invite you to learn more about Adullam, support their work, or visit in person. Their story is not just about land development or hospitality. Adullam is about purpose, obedience, and the lasting impact that can come from using wealth boldly and intentionally.
